I purchased based on a recommendation from my brother who is an engineer and super picky about the devices he buys. I had some trouble navigating the website, but everything was taken care of when Jacob Sweeney took my call. The unit was professionally installed during a kitchen upgrade. It did give the plumber a little bit of trouble, but once he fully read the instructions he was able to install it. The Venetian Bronze perfectly matches a Moen faucet.
The swivel faucet makes it easy to fill pots either inside the sink or on the counter. I am super happy to get rid of a countertop RO unit! The only downside is half of the under-sink cabinet is filled with filters and tank. A small price to pay for high-quality water on tap.

The system I purchased, SoftPro GREEN Reverse Osmosis Water System (high-efficiency 75 GPD), is high quality and works well so far, two weeks after installation. However, I had to wait 11 days after ordering to get shipping confirmation. This is a lot longer than the 3-4 days I was told. After the confirmation, actual shipping time was prompt.
Communicating with QWT was cumbersome. While Jeremy is polite and helpful by email, it sometimes took three days to get a response to my questions. Also, phone messages got me nowhere. I requested a alternative dispenser style and instead, I received the standard model. I am OK with the standard model though.
Installation was a bit confusing. The instructions did not match the model I received, so I resorted to searching online to get help. The instructions talked about 3/8-inch tubes, and all the tubes are 1/4-inch. The tube colors did not match the instructions. Also, there was a leak in a factory-installed fitting, so I had to remove it and apply some teflon tape to stop the leak.

I live in Phoenix AZ, we have mostly ground water from a very large aquifer, it's not great. Some areas of town, the water is very hard and downright nasty tasting. So bottled water or a system like this is necessary. I bought this right as the viral pandemic started. Bottled water was getting scarce, and was being rationed. Rather than deal with the mobs, I went for my own supply.

Our tap water taste is so-so, and not good after it sits in my Yeti for more than a couple of hours. As a result, we were spending $15 a week on Deer Park gallon bottles, and using tons of plastic in the process. I installed this RO system unit a few days ago, and the water quality is outstanding. It can sit OVERNIGHT in my Yeti, and is still smooth and clean tasting. And I will break even on the cost in less than six months, not even accounting for the gas, time, and effort to buy the bottled water.

We have had this system for over 6 months. Being a home owner with horrible well water we were purchasing all our drinking and cooking water for our household. Our well water is very hard with lots of iron and sometimes a sulfur smell. We did add a water softener which helped quite a bit, but not in the drinking water department. I run into some problems after the installation. Water is coming out white/cloudy. I researched what caused the problem and found out that that is normal when setting up new system. It was because of the air trapped in check valve. But after draining the system 3 times my water was crystal clear.

This 75GPD system is fantastic. What a huge difference in water taste and texture. It is so good we quit buying water bottles. We did a few taste tests and everyone we tested preferred this RO water to the bottled water we tested against; and I thought the bottled water was good before. I found myself saying "here, try this water!" I now use this to fill up the water bottles for the coffee machine at work. I find myself drinking more water now and we all love the taste. If you have hard water, give this system a try; beats the pants off of city tap water for sure.

I've heard (from my friend with the Kangen system) that alkaline water will dissolve tumors in animals, but I cannot directly advocate that claim, since I didn't personally know the cat whose tumor turned mushy after drinking the water for a month.

Our old RO system from Culligan (came with the house when we bought it in 2015) was having issues. The reservoir didn't seem to hold much water anymore, and the membrane needed replacing too. I was appalled when Culligan told me how much their new membrane was. Didn't bother getting a replacement tank quote. I had been looking at a way to get out of dealing with them anyway. After researching many companies and the varying start up costs and upkeep/replacement costs, we chose SoftPro. Seems to have good reviews. This unit fit our needs and installation looked very easy. Our new SoftPro RO system is up and running. Water tastes great(better than Culligan's after the 12 mo. filter change), even the pets are drinking more water!

With this system being located on the wall in the basement, it is a good 6 or 7 feet below the sink and still has a great flow rate. It also makes the maintenance of changing the filters really easy and accessible.

I bought a digital water tester on Amazon, because I’m a geek, and found that my untreated water has total dissolved solids of 300 ppm. My treated water has 15 ppm. Somehow that translates into my water tasting really great, and that was the whole point of buying the system, so still another win.
