We replaced our old softener (20 year old Culligan) with this SoftPro softener and it works great. We’re on a water well system so our water is very hard. Our old system was inefficient, used lots of salt and went through the regeneration cycle twice a week and the water still wasn’t softened enough. This SoftPro is just the opposite.
We bought our first SoftPro for my daughter’s home and it works great… hence why we bought this one and we’re very happy with it. The set up was easy with the quick connect connectors… I was up and running in a couple of hours. Thanks!

I didn't use them I hard piped it instead. I was confused how to order this so let me help you. If you add 1 to cart you are going to get 1 set two hoses. For example if you add 2 to cart you will get 4 hoses. Also I ordered this for the whole house filter also, which I didn't know cannot be used with it. The hoses can only be used on the Soft Pro Softener head because one end is made for the softener and nothing else. I'm a pro and got confused by this it should be more clear and listing should be improve. But everything worked out in the end I hope this helps you DIYers!!

Hoses work great! 5 stars on that. However. It took multiple calls and 2 additional shipments before the correct ones to connect the whole house filter, I also ordered, arrived. May have been that the filter and softener systems were shipped at different times. In any case, Rhea worked with we, kept me informed and finally installed system today.

The setup is actually very easy. The quick connects make it even easier. The only negative is that the manual is not user friendly. The manual needs to be rewritten from a layman's perspective. The directions do not flow well and the information regarding the first salt install, and first time regeneration are very poor. However, once you have it figured out, the system is actually very easy to install.

I thought the system was fairly easy to install. There were a few problems with missing or wrong parts but QWT was responsive by phone and got me what I needed for the installation. I appreciate the time Jeremy spent with me on the phone sorting out these issues.
I installed both the carbon filter and the water softener. I thought the instructions were not as linear as they needed to be for this combination installation but they were adequate to get the job done.
The system is performing as I expected. Apparently my old water softener system that came with the house was not functioning well. I'm no longer seeing a build-up of calcium in the bottom of our electric tea pot and the soap requirement for all types of washing has been reduced.

I am fixing up an old house. (built in 1953) It has well water and has been sitting for few years. The well was down in an outside cellar that was dug out near the house. The pressure tank was in the cellar as well. I pulled everything out and raised the well housing and replumbed into the house. I hooked up the well pump just to see what the water was like. It was dark orange. uhhhg. So after searching the internet I found this Iron Filter. According to all the reviews it was the best out there. And it lived up to that review. The water in my house is clear and drinkable with the filter in place. I wished I can show the water coming out of the bottom of the pressure tank and then let you see it coming out of a faucet that is filtered. Huge difference. I did not have room for the water softening system or I would have went with that as well. I would recommend this to anyone out there that has iron issues!! I am talking bad iron issue. Thanks to the staff that helped me out!!!

Every one was nice when ordering equipment. Delivery took a while for some stuff I guess when you have good prices and quality equipment it takes a while. My son and i set it all up and installed a pump for the reverse osmosis everything is working great . My son is a coffee nut and has a very expensive system and is quite pleased with the water and tests it frequently . Thanks again guys

Just wanted to let you know the softener install was easy and it is working great. I have a 3 stage filter with a carbon filter and UV light installed prior to the softener. Our well water is absolutely great now.

ProSoft system arrived in perfect condition. I had it setup and ready for plumber to install and. It took less than an hour to put it in place and hook head unit to tank. Instructions were perfect. Minor issue programming the advanced mode but once I figured out to press and hold the setup button 5 seconds, all worked fine. The day it was installed water was very soft. We had a softener 30 years ago and missed it so this is a real treat to finally have soft water again. Quality Water did a nice job with their sales team and making it a smooth transaction. I had never heard of them before but I bought it for one fourth the price of a Culligan or Kinetico system. Pleased so far!

The flexibility of the quick connect is nice, and it does slip right over the top of the existing piping as advertised. However it is extremely picky and has to be lined up with the existing plumbing just exactly the way it wants to be, otherwise it will have a slow dripping leak. Took several minor adjustments but finally seem to have it where it wants to be and it is dry. Will have to keep an eye on it long term to make sure it stays that way.

Having no major plumbing experience, I was confident on proceeding with the installation myself after viewing the installation videos and following the written step-by-step instructions. The snap-on flex hoses were a plus on making the process easier.

Relatively easy install. One area of improvement would be to include install instructions when installing one of the optional filters (ex. KDF filter). The standard install guide had no instructions for this, and i had to search for a while online before finally finding it.
It should be included with the filter itself inside the box.

Using these "Quick connectors" was great . I was a little hesitant at first after looking at them wondering if they would seal tight enough as to not leak with only an " O " ring to seal with, they sealed great, just be sure to add the silicone lube.

We really love our SoftPro Elite water softener and was easy to install. The old hard water we had is is now soft and we can tell a difference in our skin, nails, hair and clothes. I installed the system myself after rerouting and running 35 ft of copper pipe using Watts Aqua push to connect 3/4” pipe connectors to our existing water pipes, adding electrical box, and draining it to an existing drain in the basement. The water softener input and output valve was very tight and took a lot of force to push it into the unit. However, after a couple of tries I was able to get the valve installed and get the red clips to set correctly in the unit. In all, we are very satisfied with our new water softener system.

I have the water softener for about a month and I am happy with the whole experience. I have not have previous plumbing experience (although I did a thing or two about my sprinkler system). I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated by the task to install the water softener by myself but the web site and videos convinced me that this should be doable. I am really grateful to Jeremy who answered my questions through the chat or e-mail almost immediately. So essentially his support is a guarantee that you will make it through the installation process if for some reason the videos and the manual were not enough. One thing where I got stuck, is the fact that the valves on the bypass assembly are extremely tough. I was doing installation on Sunday, and I was afraid to force them, so I had to wait until Monday when Jeremy told me that this is normal and that I could use a wrench to turn them. I could do it without a wrench but I had to use all my might. So it may be worth to mention about this fact in the manual, to save future customers some worries.
The complementary connect hoses were a HUGE HELP. Essentially they made the entire installation a snap. I just pushed my PVC or CPVC pipes (I don't know the difference) into the distal connector, and that was it!. Make sure to select the write size (3/4 or 1 inch) and to figure out which pipe goes to the inlet and which to the outlet!
We have a very nice soft water now. Also, the optional chlorine filter I added to the purchase seem to work, because the chlorine odor now is much less if exists at all. I would highly recommend the product and the company. I think they have an excellent business model, and make it really possible to do it yourself, and in this way save a considerable amount fo money!

We are very happy with the water quality we have achieved, thanks in part to your questionaire regarding problems we observed or did not observe in our previous water quality. SInce I don't know all the scientific terms to describe water conditions, your very basic, clear questions to help assess the problems were very helpful.
Our water tastes better, we are not getting the brown gunk and water spotting in our stainless steek sink or around the faucets. We feel confident our entire plumbing system will be better off.
