This Original Orem Air Pump-Twin Bellows is an integral element of the Ozone Method. It offers compressed air to an ultraviolet ozone producing lamp, therefore producing compressed ozone. It tends to make a faint 'hum' noise when the ozone generator is turned on and also the Triple O Ozone system is installed properly.

Pump arrived promptly and was an exact replacement part. When I tried to attach the tab that held the spring in my unit, it broke. then i had to drill a small hole to attach the spring, which was okay, but the pump is slightly off center and crooked looking. Kind of my fault for not being more careful as I installed it.

This original part is very low quality for the price. The fulcrum is just a blob of glue that fails within a few years. A commodity fish aquarium air pump for 1/4 the price will work better.

I contacted, Water Quality Treatment because I have used them before and was happy with dealing with them. I talked to Jeremy and he confirmed my situation and suggested replacing the bulb as well. Both needed replacing and it was approximately a 15-minute job. I would recommend Water Quality treatment. They are nice folks, very informative and have reasonable prices.

What Filter Size?

In general, match your effective well pump flow rate to the backwash requirements to select the appropriate filter size.

Typical size is the 1.5 CUFT size, if your well pump can accommodate. An option is that you can also select a smaller size, if higher flow rates are not required.
