AMR TASK COMPLETED/LEAK ALERT CONCEPT ADDED TO BILL The past four years the Hixson Utility Area (HUD) has worked to change the 25, 000+ manually read drinking water meters with Auto Meter Reading (AMR) technology. AMR technology transmits a studying specifically to the colocar and account into a device located in a HUD vehicle that may be driven near every service location around the monthly or bimonthly reading schedule. Additionally to simplifying inmiscuirse reading, AMR technology gathers information which can be important to the customer during the time the reading is transmitted. During the tranny of the reading, a warning is provided in the event the meter has authorized continuous usage to get 24 hours, like a leak may be present. To make this info available to our clients, we will put this alert to the customer’s bill once indicated. Below are a lot of frequently asked questions: Do I genuinely leak? The alert only offers us a picture in the 24 hours before the meter reading. Anywhere of usage that registers continually for the 24 hours can trigger that notify. The usage could be as small as a gallon or much larger. In case your usage is high in conjunction with receiving this kind of alert message, you might want to check for leaks. How can I identify a drip? Our website consists of useful information on how to recognize areas of water reduction. Please visit http://www.hixsonutility.com/resource-center/leak/ for a few helpful tips. HUD would not repair leaks that occur from the colocar to the home.
