Your water, which can be treated surface drinking water, comes from the Nolichucky River. We aim to protect each of our water from impurities and we are working together with the State to determine the weakness of our water supply to potential toxins. The Tennessee Section of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) have got prepared a Reference Water Assessment Plan (SWAP) Report to get the untreated normal water sources serving this kind of water system. The SWAP Report determines the susceptibility of untreated water options to potential toxins. To ensure safe drinking water, most public water devices treat and consistently test their normal water. Water sources had been rated as moderately susceptible, moderately prone or slightly prone based on geologic points and human actions in the vicinity of the water supply. The Jonesborough options rated as moderately susceptible to potential toxins.
