General public Water System The water system is regularly inspected by the Ma Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP). MassDEP inspects our system because of its technical, financial, and managerial capacity to offer safe drinking water to you. Water & Sewer Division Department of Public Works Mission Statement The Water & Sewer Division of the City of Marlborough’s Department of Public Works is accountable for offering the City with drinking water and sewage series and treatment in a price powerful and environmentally friendly manner that meets EPA and DEP requirements. Billing Office The Water & Sewer Billing Office invoices water and sewer clients on a systematic basis and reconcile and customer account issues. The office is accountable for issuing all water and sewer bills for the city’s 11,000 customers of the water distribution and wastewater series structures. Usages are determined from meters read within the field or from estimates organized by means of the department.
