Louisiana Water Company will serve six public normal water supplies (PWS) in Louisiana. The groundwater serving our consumers in Iberia Parish, Crowley and Eunice come from the Croc Aquifer. DeQuincy’s and Mansura’s groundwater originates from the Evangeline Aquifer. Lecompte’s groundwater originates from the Williamson Creek Aquifer. Each PWS uses water boreholes as their source. Fresh Iberia, Crowley, and Eunice have normal water treatment plants which in turn add lime for the water to reduce the hardness and take away inorganic constituents just like iron and manganese. DeQuincy and Lecompte have wells of any suitable quality to function directly into the system. In Mansura, we choose the water your beverage from the Town of Cottonport. We are very happy to present the Water Top quality Report for the season 2017. It is built to inform you about the caliber of your water and services we deliver to you every day. It also includes a listing of potential options for contamination within the delineated area and a determination of the normal water supply’s susceptibility to contamination by the determined potential sources. In line with the Source Water Examination Plan, Lecompte, Crowley, Eunice, and Dequincy had a susceptibility score of high. New Iberia and Cottonport a new rating of method and Mansura a new rating of low. Our drinking water is drawn from wells.
