Humboldt County’s standard water infrastructure is currently in great to excellent condition. However, the vast majority of local water systems found in Humboldt County can safely and securely treat and reliably present clean water with nominal capacity issues and nominal risk to the public. Whilst the overall status of the County’s water infrastructure is in decent to excellent standing, lots of the smaller community service district’s water infrastructure will require significant investments. These communities service a small fraction of the overall population from Humboldt County, and therefore own minimal impact to the over-all County grade. Five with the 11 community service canton individually contribute less than one particular percent to the overall class. Yet, they require significant choice on the individual community range. In contrast, the larger entities among them: Humboldt Bay Municipal Liquid District, the cities, plus the larger community service division contribute, individually, up to fifty percent to the overall grade (Figure 1).
