Smithfield City

Smithfield City is usually an ensign of peace, hope, the standard of living, and overall community goodness. No wonder that earlier in 2011 Smithfield was heralded because the best Utah town in which to live. People who already live here know how accurate that is and we understood it even before being taught or celebrated. All of us who enjoy operating as Smithfield Town police officers feel a great honour to provide our community. The Promise, Our Promise, and Our Ideals are published up front in this statement. These three claims motivate us to serve with most of our abilities and also to increase our capabilities so we may better serve. Public security is the highest concern promoted by people of the Smithfield Town Police Department. Initially, since its inception in 2000, Smithfield Town Police Department will be able to work from just one building. The new service, located at fifty-five E 100 H, meets our policing organizational and management needs. We value and are most thankful to the people of Smithfield for providing us with a permanent place that to serve. You will notice on the back covers a memorial intended for Cody Foster. Cody was a friend to us all. He had simply begun his life’s pursuit of being a serenity officer when his life was suddenly cut short. All of us remember him intended for his cheerful character, his decency, his kindness, his bravery, his enthusiasm for a lifetime, and his ability to say-it-as-he-saw-it. Cody’s work ethic was unquestioned, and his specialist integrity untarnished. Officials have described him as being cool, entertaining, super, outgoing, and bold. We pass up him. We will usually remember him with fondness and gratitude for having been amongst those who got to understand him. God bless you, Cody, you always and permanently. The hopes and dreams of Smithfield residents should go about our daily responsibilities and activities free from crime or unfettered with the fear of criminal offence. 2011 statistics show us that theft, scams, burglary, and household violence strike in our peace and tranquillity. 137 visitors crash cost community members hundreds of us dollars if a not huge amount of money in property damage. 19 individuals had been injured in visitors' crashes, some terrifyingly so. As you read through this report, you will notice other acts that usually undermine law or perhaps deliberately violate this. There are many functions to be done to clear our community totally of crime or maybe the fear of crime. SCPD officers commit their particular very lives towards the goal of viewing the day when Smithfield will be free of criminal offence and the severe effects of violations of law. Even the littlest of infractions may cause devastating results in people’s lives. Smithfield Town must always be a bright spot of liberty, trust, health, safety, bravery, optimism, cooperation, and fidelity to the constitutional rights of all.
