No regular maintenance is required on SoftPro salt-free system unit.
The upgraded Filtersorb media in the SoftPro Salt-Free tank will generally last 6 to 10 years (and in some cases much longer). This is dependent on water quality and usage.
The Big Blue Sediment cartridge filter is typically replaced every 3 months or sooner. The decrease in home water pressure will indicate that the sediment filter will need replacement.
Note: If upgrading to Whole House Upflow Catalytic Carbon & Bone Char Filter, Big Blue Carbon Cartridge Filter will be replaced with a standard sediment cartridge filter.

If our water analysis report does not calculate a water softener size, please contact us. Your unique requirements and water composition will require additional assessments.
There are 3 ways to get your water hardness level.
1) For those on city water, you can access the company's annual water quality report, or contact their office directly.
2) Testing. You can use a simple home water testing kit or strip, or use a laboratory.
3) Estimate. Our Water Intelligent Engine can estimate your water hardness. You'll see it in our Water Analysis Report.
Yes. Resin is pre-installed in the softener tank up to a 64,000 grain capacity.
Softener sizes that are larger than 64,000 grain capacity will have resin partially loaded and include additional resin with the shipment.
