history SOUTH MARTIN REGIONAL UTILITY has its foundations in the first Hobe Sound water supply and siphoning plant, set up in the mid 1900's to serve Jupiter Island and the most seasoned Hobe Sound neighborhoods in the prompt territory of the ebb and flow SMRU South Water Plant on what is currently Water Street, Hobe Sound.
