The Municipal Authority was set up in 1946 by the Upper Southampton Board of Supervisors to give a sheltered and solid water supply for the Township of Upper Southampton. The Municipal Water Distribution System comprises of roughly 80 miles of mains going from 6 inch to 16 inch. We keep up 430 fire hydrants. Water is provided by an interconnection with Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority and three municipal wells.
