The Warren Water District is a non-earnings governmental entity set up under Code 357A State of Iowa. The District is ruled with the aid of a nine member Board of Directors, elected from the District Membership.Construction commenced in 1987 and the District’s first section have become operational on March eleventh, 1988, serving 800 customers and laying 154 miles of pipeline. All creation levels were completed in 2004. After years of hard paintings, we serve 6700 customers, have almost 1,2 hundred miles of pipe, and pump on an average 1,seven-hundred,000 gallons of water a day.The District is proud to be serving rural families, farms, organizations, and communities of Warren County, Madison County, southern Dallas County and a part of Polk County.This vicinity consists of the Cities of Martensdale, Milo, St. Charles, St. Marys, New Virginia, Truro, Bevington, Patterson, Ackworth, Earlham and Peru. The District also offers water to Xenia Rural Water District, Lake Ahquabi State Park, Southeast Warren Schools, River Oaks Water Co., Hartford Mobile Home Park, and Camp Wesley Woods. Water is bought for delivery from Des Moines Water Works and pumped via nine big booster stations to 7 water towers.The District also advanced and built and presently keeps Wastewater Systems within the towns of Bevington and Peru..
