DESCRIPTION

The Pentek NCP Series Carbon-Impregnated Filter Cartridge pulls double duty as a sediment filter and carbon filter. Its 10-micron filtration helps reduce dirt, rust, sand, and suspended solids while tackling chlorine taste, unpleasant odors, and bad-tasting water.

Built with durable, non-cellulose carbon-impregnated polyester media, it’s suitable for well water, non-chlorinated water, and post-RO filtration applications. One cartridge. Two jobs. Better water.

HOW TO USE

Swap it in. Filter the unwanted stuff out.

  1. Check compatibility. Confirm your filter housing accepts a 4.5" × 9.75" Big Blue cartridge.
  2. Shut off the water. Relieve pressure and open the housing according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Replace the cartridge. Remove the old filter and seat the new Pentek NCP cartridge securely.
  4. Close and flush. Reassemble the housing, restore water flow, check for leaks, and flush according to the manufacturer's instructions.
