DESCRIPTION
Bacteria and viruses called. They’re not getting through.
The Pura UV-20 Two-Stage system pairs a 5-micron sediment filter with a UV lamp. The filter catches the grit, and the lamp kills bacteria and viruses with no chemicals and no change to taste. It’s the unit recommended for most well water setups.
It handles 8-10 GPM through 3/4" ports and plugs into a standard 120V outlet. Warranty: 3 years on the system (excluding filters) and 1 year on electrical components.
HOW TO USE
Check your water. Install it. Replace the lamp once a year.
- Test your water first. UV works best when iron is under 0.3 mg/L, manganese under 0.05 mg/L, hardness under 120 mg/L, and pH is 6.5-9.5.
- Check your pressure, which should be 20-75 PSI.
- Install it on your main water line using the 3/4" FNPT ports, and plug it into a 120V outlet.
- Watch the LED lamp indicator to confirm the lamp is on.
- Replace the UV lamp once a year, and swap the sediment filter when it gets dirty.

- Stage 1: Sediment. The 5-micron filter catches sand, dirt, and particles so they can’t shield bacteria from the UV light.
- Stage 2: UV. The lamp disinfects the water as it flows past, killing bacteria and viruses.
