Total install time was a little less than two hours including drilling the hole in the granite composite sink. I'm a fairly handy person with tools and had everything on hand except the diamond hole saw. The only time I needed a little help was installing the dispenser, my wife had to hold it in place while I tightened it under the sink. The instructions were great and there are helpful videos online as well.

I have installed 2 units. Both had challenges in that they were put into older homes. 1 had electrical issues and 1 had electrical and plumbing issues. Once the electrical outlets are established and the plumbing is up to speed installation of this unit is a breeze! Just be careful when tapping the drain line into the drain as not to drill thru the other side! Complete install time was approximately 20 minutes.

Because this system has to be plugged into an outlet, we did run into a small problem during the install: the outlet that the RO system shared with our sink disposal unit was on a switch that controlled the entire outlet. This meant that to turn on the RO system, the disposal also had to be running. It was a minor issue to fix, but something we wished we had realized sooner so there weren't delays using everything. If you're considering this system, check the outlet under your sink first and make sure it's set up correctly before installing the system.

It filters as it should , it looks compact for us , but some hustle to install it. After research we learned that all similar filters requires some skill to install them. So have someone with some experience to help as a back up. Overall recommend, it's an optimal solution.

With the doors open you can barely hear the pump running, with them closed ... not a thing. But the important thing was when I was done, after all of the startup flushing. Two glasses of water, one form the filter, one from the tap ... WOW!! I guess you just get used to your water. I thought out water was pretty good. Yea, not really apparently. It was fluctuating between 9 and 10 PPM of total dissolved solids after the flushing. I am ordering a TDS meter now and will update this with the PPM of the tap water once I have it.

I can feel the manufacturer has paid tons of attention to every detail - from design, wrapping to the manual. Very tasty and it's cool to continuously monitor the TDS level which is around 2 to 5. Installation was easier than expected.

TDS of my yucky tap water in San Diego was 350 (actually not bad ) but it Tastes horrible. Onboard TDS meter was reading like 15-20, now says 10. My meter initially read 40s now after much use is down to 20. PH surprisingly didn’t change much, around 7.75 for unfiltered and filtered tap. I have fairly high input pressure and the output on this is good enough, takes maybe 10 seconds for a tall glass of water.

Love this system! Install was easy and it’s very quiet! We have been using it about a week now and absolutely love it! I had to drill a hold through granite, but it was easy. I watched a YouTube video and got the correct bit. Take your time and go slow, I had to change my drill battery 3 times and I rinsed the bit every few seconds to keep the hole neat. (I didn’t have a high rpm drill.) Also, as we keep using it, the TDS level is going lower. The filters need to get a bit dirty to be more efficient.

It's expensive. buy it anyhow. because once installed, all you do is wait for the warning lights to change color, change out that filter in a matter of seconds without disconnecting or moving a thing, and your good for another 6 months to 2 years depending on which filter was exhausted.

I installed this system myself, I needed an extra set of hands for the RO faucet install. The scariest thing is drilling through your stone counter. For DIYers, the QEP diamond bit and plastic guide are a must. Really recommend that product. The only other drilling involves your drain pipe, very simple 1/4” bit, easy with pvc pipes and if you mess up pretty cheap to swap a new one. The rest is plug and play, the unit is about the size of a narrow desktop computer tower. And the quick connect tubing is super easy and uses no tools.

The only drawback we've encountered is a 1-2 second hesitation when turning on the water flow. I contacted customer support, both by e-mail and phone and found them to be very responsive, friendly, and helpful.

Many thoughtful things for the installation process. No pressure tank required. Only one gallon of waste per gallon of purified water vs. 8 in others. Blue light on spout indicates all filters are OK and changes colors when replacement is required. Filters are EXTREMELY easy to change-just an easy twist on the front to remove AND you don’t even have to shut off the water! On top of that it’s a stylish looking unit. No negatives so far in several weeks of use.

I’m able to stick it under the sink and still have a lot of room for storage. Because of its small size it does not have a reservoir of water that it pulls from. Instead it holds a small amount in the unit and the rest is pulled from the cold water line while you run the faucet. Because of this the pump must have electricity for the unit to function. If you have any issues with your electricity, be aware that this unit won’t function during your down times. However, aside from this, the unit functions very well for my needs. Also, I had an initial issue with my unit but customer service was able to resolve it.

Installation was very easy for me, no teflon tape required, (but it was included). Just unscrew the rubber compression fit cold water line, screw on their valve tee stack, tighten lightly with wrench, and insert quick connect water lines. Insert quick connect locks, and plug in the dispenser head and power electrical connectors, and turn on the water for leak check. After the automatic 5 minute filter flush, I turned on the dispenser tap, and let it run for 30 minutes, then my water read 14 units of measure. I assume it is parts per million of disolved solids. This is about the same as what I measure after changing filters on the Aquatru, and the numbers go down over a week or so as the filters really start doing their thing, so I expect to see similar results. Still, under 50ppm TDS is very good clean water.

it uses a pump instead of water pressure to send the water to the faucet. This makes for a faster flow than most, but you do have to plug it in under your sink. Most sinks have an outlet for the disposal, but some have other appliances under the sink so you may need an outlet extender. Current draw is low, so it should not overload the circuit.

Just unscrew the rubber compression fit cold water line, screw on their valve tee stack, tighten lightly with wrench, and insert quick connect water lines. Insert quick connect locks, and plug in the dispenser head and power electrical connectors, and turn on the water for leak check. After the automatic 5 minute filter flush, I turned on the dispenser tap, and let it run for 30 minutes, then my water read 14 units of measure. I assume it is parts per million of disolved solids. This is about the same as what I measure after changing filters on the Aquatru, and the numbers go down over a week or so as the filters really start doing their thing, so I expect to see similar results. Still, under 50ppm TDS is very good clean water.

it uses a pump instead of water pressure to send the water to the faucet. This makes for a faster flow than most, but you do have to plug it in under your sink. Most sinks have an outlet for the disposal, but some have other appliances under the sink so you may need an outlet extender. Current draw is low, so it should not overload the circuit.
