We bought the Iron, manganese, sulfur filter with Air injection for our home. We’re on a well system, our water softener used to be enough for our water however our yearly rain totals have increased dramatically for the last 3 years and has stirred up an enormous amount of iron and manganese. We went from changing the recommended incoming line large particle filter from twice a year to monthly and still particles and gunk past through clogging up the smaller parts of the softener. This new iron filter has put a complete halt to all these problems, our water has no smell whatsoever, I grew up on city water so I’ve never been able to tolerate drinking well water but I absolutely can drink our water now. Thanks to Quality Water for assisting us in the best system for our needs.

It was an easy hook up for me I was replacing an 16 year old McClean water treatment system and the dimensions were very close. It is working great and is just what my house and well water system needed.
I do want to say that the packaging of the tank and value assembly was pretty poor. They arrived at my house thru FedEx and came in two boxes that were taped together to cover the tank and a box that had the value in it. The value was packed ok but the tank had nothing to protect no packing material around it other then the thin cardboard box that by the time it got to my house was in pretty bad shape. In fact the fiberglass tank had a few chips in it. Shipping of a 1050.00 system should be better.

I have very bad iron in my water if you was to wash a load of whites they would turn orange (This happen to me).The iron removal tank we purchased works great .The water is crystal clear. Thank You Mark

I had very smelly water and my seasonal renters were complaining all the time. I tried many filters and systems from low cost to high and none worked. This system is amazing. No more odors, chemicals or complains. I wish I could give it 6 stars, because I would. This is the second year and it is still going. You will need to replace the grains inside once every few years which would take about2-3 hrs but it is very well worth it. The trick is to back wash every night. This system is on my well so back-wash is not a problem specially since allthat water is natural and goes back to the nature. Read the instructions and follow it properly. You also need to make sure you backwash back pipe is tied down well since water come out with a very high pressure and it can flop all over.

So far, it is excellent! Works great for me. Have high iron content (11.7 ppm tested from accredited lab ) after install none. Went from red water to clear.

I used to have to change my whole house filter about every 2 months. It’s a good indicator of how clean it’s keeping my water. That filter witch is after this filter has been crystal clear since I’ve put this in about four months ago .

fantastic, I have so much iron in my water we don't drink it or cook with it our white towels are tan and brown, our toilets are destroyed, stained, etc I can actually drink the water now, def. recommend

Only doing it due to the cost of the unit. I had embarrassing sulfur smelling water. So bad, I would smell like sulfur after showering. This does the trick if you can spend the money.

Solved all my water problems. Before this unit was installed we had the iron algae growing in the back of the toilets, the water would turn brown if we let it sit overnight, and all of the appliances (washer, shower, sink, toilet, etc) were stained brown from the iron. Now we have none of that. I would have purchased this a long time ago if I had know it would work so well. Glad I went out on a limb and tried this, because it works great and for a lot less.

My son installed the unit. I could have probably done it myself. I'm doing the review because after watching the install videos on You Tube, I had a couple of questions. I called customer service and spoke with Heather, who looked up my file and then passed me to their tech guy Tony. He answered my questions and then some. I was on the phone for about 10 minutes. My questions were answered in less than a minute, but Tony took the time to give me a general education on the system and its function. As a single, older woman, knowing how my stuff works is very important to me. I'm pretty sure this is the best customer service experience I have ever had.

I have very bad well water with a high level of manganese. I have been using a water softener but refilling it's salt bin required moving 40# bags of salt. Until I found this filter every option required constantly refilling the oxidizer or salt. This one uses air so does not require any routine maintenance materials.

Works great so far. Water tastes amazing. Shipping took a really long time though, which is bad if you have really hard water and need it fixed ASAP. If you have the time to wait for it, then by all means, this is the softener for you!

We have a well system and very poor water. We basically needed the maximum iron removal we could get. So far the Ironmaster has worked very well. Our water quality is much better than it was before with our old filter system. Even the periodic iron flushes have stopped being a problem. I'd recommend to anyone with very heavy iron water.

Great Product
Our water so bad, we have 22 ppm iron and a bad rotten egg odor. We have tried several systems over the years and none of them removed all the iron or odor from our water. I called Quality Water Treatment and spoke with the owner, he had me email him my water test results and i checked my flow rate on my well pump to make sure whatever he recommended would work. I purchased the ironmaster and a Softpro Elite Basic 80,000 grain water softener from them. My water is iron and odor free and even taste good. Thank you for your expertise and help on this. Not just a great product and service but i paid much less for this setup than i did on the ones that did not work as well.
