Causes of Supply Orange County’s water supplies are a blend of groundwater handled by OCWD and water imported coming from Northern California as well as the Colorado River by Municipal Water Area of Orange Region (MWDOC) via MWDSC. In 1783 California had a place with Spain, and Pedro Fages was the Governor of this piece of the nation.
