Fruit County’s water materials are a blend of floor water provided by OCWD and water brought in from Northern Washington dc and the Colorado Water by the Municipal Drinking water District of Fruit County (MWDOC) through MWDSC. Ground drinking water comes from a natural below ground aquifer that may be replenished with drinking water from the Santa Bêtisier River, local rainfall, OCWD’s Groundwater Renewal System and brought in water. The groundwater basin is three hundred and fifty square miles and lies beneath north and central Fruit County from Irvine to the Los Angeles Region border and coming from Yorba Linda towards the Pacific Ocean. More than twenty cities and selling water districts combine the basin to supply water to homeowners and businesses.
