Sherman, Texas: Rich Past - Exciting Present - Solid Future Grayson County In December 1845, Texas was attached into the Union. The principal State Legislature composed a few new districts, one of which was Grayson County. It was made from a piece of Fannin County and approved on November 17, 1846.
