The City of Westminster’s water supply is a mixture of groundwater managed by Orange County Drinking water District (OCWD) and water imported coming from Northern California as well as the Colorado River. Brought in water is bought from MWDSC by Municipal Water Area of Orange Region (MWDOC), who redirects it to drinking water agencies in Orange colored County. Groundwater originates from a natural underfloor aquifer that replaces ed with drinking water from the Santa Bêtisier River, local rainfall, and imported drinking water.
