The Monroeville Municipal Authority (MMA) is happy to present its 2017 Water Quality Statement. This report gives our customers having a summary of where their particular drinking water comes from, just how it is treated, as well as the results of drinking water quality monitoring performed daily. To meet environmentally friendly Protection Agency (EPA) ruling requiring almost all U. S. drinking water utilities to provide clients with this information, we are posting our 2017 water quality statement online by This summer 1, 2018. Make sure you contact our office buildings if you would like a newspaper copy delivered to your home or perhaps business. The MIXED MARTIAL ARTS constantly strives to fulfill and exceed water standards established by environmentally friendly Protection Agency (EPA), the Pennsylvania Division of Environmental Safety (PADEP), and the Allegheny County Health Division (ACHD). How do we do that? All of the employees in the MMA share a similar goal - to supply our customers with safe and dependable drinking water at the least expensive rate possible. In case you have questions or feedback concerning the information offered in this report or perhaps other aspects of the MMA’s operations, make sure you contact the MIXED MARTIAL ARTS administrative office in (412)372-2677. You may also visit the web site at www.monroevillewater. org. Besides, the MMA Board of Directors meets at 7 pm on the third Monday of each month at 219 Speelman Lane. MMA Table meetings are available to the public. SOURCE OF DRINKING WATER: During the entire 2017 calendar year, the MIXED MARTIAL ARTS purchased finished water from the Municipal Expert of Westmoreland Region (MAWC). Information concerning MAWC water top quality may be accessed by going to www.mawc. org/cancer. The finished water that may be provided by MAWC is usually obtained from both the Pussy Run Reservoir and Youghiogheny River. The MAWC raw drinking water sources are possibly most susceptible to animal spills along key transportation corridors, the launch of raw and undertreated sewerage, and storm drinking water runoff from created and/or agricultural areas. Also, Beaver Operate is potentially vulnerable to the cumulative launch of petroleum items from nearby fish tank farms. A Resource Water Assessment of MAWC’s intake drinking water was completed in 2002 by the PA Division of Environmental Safety (PA DEP). The origin water assessment general public summaries can be found around the MMA website at https://www.monroevillewater.org/sweeney and https://www.monroevillewater.org/yough. Complete reports had been distributed to cities, water suppliers, regional planning agencies and PA DEP office buildings..
