This Water Top quality Report is required by the Safe Drinking Water Act and tells you where the water comes from, what tests by indie laboratories show about this, and other information you need to know about your drinking water. The Muscle Shoals Resources Board Water Treatment Plant is located in 321 River Street and utilizes Pat Lake on the Tn River for its water source. The treatment herb incorporates a process of blending, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration in the treatment process. Also, chlorine dioxide & chlorine are used for disinfection, fluoride-based for dental safety, and caustic soft drinks for pH adjusting. The Utilities Table has also performed a source water evaluation for the water treatment plant. This information might be viewed at the Resources Board office between hours of 7: 00 a. m. and 3: 30 g. m., Monday through Friday. Appointments intended for review are required.
