North Kingstown’s Drinking Water We are going to pleased to present to you North Kingstown’s 2017 Drinking Water Quality Record. This report is made to inform you about the water quality and the solutions we deliver for you every day. Our continuous goal is to supply you with a safe and reliable supply of drinking water. We wish you to understand the attempts we make to continually improve the drinking water treatment process and protect our drinking water resources. We are devoted to ensuring the quality of the water. A copy of the report is available on-line at www.northkingstown.org. We want one to be informed about your water resources. If you want to find out more, please attend some of the regularly scheduled conferences of the Groundwater Panel. They are usually held around the first Thursday of every month at several: 00 PM inside the Municipal Offices Meeting Room, 100 Fairway Drive, North Kingstown. Exactly where does our water come from? All of the water provided to clients of North Kingstown Drinking water is supplied by groundwater. In 2017 North Kingstown Water operated 11 (11) municipal water wells, which draw drinking water from the Hunt-AnnaquatucketPettaquamscutt (HAP) aquifer system. Common daily water utilization in 2017 was installment payments on your 85 million gallons per day. The HAP aquifer system continues to be designated a “Sole Source Aquifer” by the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), meaning that there is no option source of drinking water obtainable.
