Fleck 2510 SXT Birm Iron Filter

Big house. Big iron problem. Bigger filter.

The Fleck 2510 SXT Birm Iron Filter removes up to 8 ppm of iron without air injection and up to 2 ppm of manganese (depending on pH) from well water. That means no more rust-stained tubs, brown laundry, or orange sinks.

It’s built for homes with higher water demand: 12-15 GPM flow in the 2.0 cu ft size and 13-16 GPM in the 2.5 cu ft size. Birm media does the work, so there’s no salt, no chemicals, and no regeneration. The 2510 valve backwashes on its own.

Test it. Size it. Set it. Forget it.

1. Test your well water. You need a pH of 7.0-9.0, with no tannins, chlorine, oil, or hydrogen sulfide.
2. Measure your pump flow rate. The 2.0 cu ft model needs a 7 GPM backwash rate. The 2.5 cu ft model needs 10 GPM.
3. Got a well 50 ft or deeper? Add an air injector before the filter. Birm needs oxygen to work.
4. Install it on your main water line. The 3/4" bypass valve and power transformer are included. Keep pressure under 80 PSI.
5. Program the backwash. The valve handles the rest.

Rust can’t hide from Birm.

Iron looks invisible in well water until oxygen turns it into rust. Here’s what happens inside the tank:

• Oxidize: With enough oxygen in the water, Birm media turns dissolved iron and manganese into solid particles.
• Trap: The media catches those particles as water flows through.
• Flush: The 2510 valve backwashes them down the drain automatically, and the media resets.

Clean water out. No rust parade.
