Maximum leftover the disinfectant level objective or MRDLG: The amount of a drinking water medical disinfectant below which there is no known or anticipated risk to wellness. MRDLGs do not reveal the benefits of the use of disinfectants to control microbial pollutants. “ND” means not detected and shows that the substance was by laboratory evaluation. Parts per mil (ppm) or Mg per liter (mg/l) - one component by weight of analyte to 1 mil parts by excess weight of the water test. Parts per billion dollars (ppb) or Micrograms per liter (µg/l) - one component by weight of analyte to 1 billion dollars parts by excess weight of the water test. Picocurie per liters (pCi/L) - way of measuring the radioactivity found in water. “means not applicable.
