The Henry County Water Authority (HCWA) was established in 1961 by an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Georgia, to "secure, construct, and from that point work and maintain projects embracing sources of water supply and the distribution and sale of water and related facilities." The Act goes on to list different duties of the Authority, including that to establish a sewer system. MISSION STATEMENT: The Henry County Water Authority (HCWA) is committed to its fundamental target as an open utility: to give and secure a satisfactory water supply and system, which includes wastewater accumulation and treatment, of the highest quality, while meeting or surpassing every administrative requirement as economically possible and in an environmentally-sound manner, for the growing residential, commercial and industrial needs of Henry County. VISION It is our full expectation at the HCWA to: Plan for future needs and follow up on those plans in a responsible manner. Give first-class customer service. Be fiscally responsible.
