About Us

A Source Water Diagnosis of HSWA’s normal water options was completed in 2005 by PADEP. The Assessment saw our water sources happen to be potentially most prone to crashes and leaks along the highways in the assessment areas and nonpoint source toxins out of residences, pesticide use, and historic mining practices. Total, our sources experience an average risk of significant contamination. Conclusion information of the Assessment can be obtained by contacting the HSWA Office and posted on the PADEP website at http://www.dep.state.pa.us (keyword: “DEP supply water”). Complete information was passed out to municipalities, water suppliers, local planning firms, and PADEP office buildings. Copies of the full report are available for analysis at the PADEP Freebie southwest Territorial Office, Data Management Product (412-442-4000)..
