Lubeck Public Service District was sorted out on January 30, 1958 and started serving water to around 300 clients in 1960 with a water pace of $6.00 for 3,000 gallons. The District had a limit modification in July 1988 expanding the District limit to the Jackson County line. Throughout the years the District has finished a few self improvement water activities to get water stretched out to new clients. In 1988 the District started endeavors to move to a new water well field that would satisfactorily give water to all clients of the District. A new well field and water plant were built and the District moved to the present area beside Walnut Grove subdivision in 1990. The District keeps on stretching out water lines to new clients either without anyone else's input assistance activities or additional charges to pay for the expansions. In 2006 the District finished the structure of 4 new water tanks giving us a satisfactory stockpile of water should we have a power blackout, and so on alongside certain interconnections of lines to more readily move water over the District. In 2007, DuPont finished the establishment of the Granular Activated Carbon channels for the District to expel the ammonium perfluorooctanoate (C-8) to a level beneath the now EPA prescribed degree of 0.04 PPB. The District started working sewage bundle plants in 1965 and throughout the years from there on. The District wound up with a sum of 14 plants spread over the District. In 1998 the District had a significant sewer venture that introduced roughly 40 miles of gravity sewer lines, 11 siphon stations and a 1.5 MGD Oxidation Ditch sewage plant. The District had the option to relinquish 13 of the bundle plants. The region has made extraordinary walks in improving the nature of our water and sewer administrations.
