Tri Special Utility District commenced as Tri-Water Corporation in 1966 with approximately 160 participants. In 2004, the organization changed into converted to a Special Utility District, or SUD, servicing rural areas of three counties. Tri SUD now serves more than five, 000-meter connections in Titus, Morris and Franklin counties. Our water is bought from the metropolis of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and is derived from Lake Bob Sandlin. We have 15 pump stations/garage towers and distribute an average of 35,000,000 gallons in keeping with month.
