About Us Fire Chief Chuck Carnesale Fire Chief It is my pleasure to invite you to the Apopka Fire Department site, a significant asset for the inhabitants, organizations and guests of Apopka. I have been a pleased individual from this exceptional ISO Class 1 local group of fire-fighters for more than 33 years regardless I feel as energized and fortunate to be here today as I did on my absolute first day numerous years prior when I joined this office as a pilgrim scout at 13 years old As you may envision, I have seen numerous adjustments in the network and in this way to this association over these years, however, the one thing that has stayed consistent is the Apopka Fire Department's steady devotion and duty to serving our locale. As Fire Chief, I have the benefit to serve an extraordinary network I adore and work close by probably the most gifted people in the Fire Service. The Apopka Fire Department is positioned among the best in the nation as a result of the office's die-hard loyalty to our locale. We have more than 80 firemen and staff individuals. The department incorporates four fire stations and 30 vehicles over the city. Development before long will start on the fifth fire station. I have watched consistently individuals from our Fire Department perform gallant deeds and stupendous demonstrations of generosity and sympathy. The Apopka Fire Department is lucky to have probably the most gifted people in the Fire and EMS people group. About the Fire Chief Carnesale joined the Apopka Fire Department's adventurer program in 1983 at 13 years old. He moved on from Lake Brantley High School in 1989 – that year he finished the fire institute/EMT school and earned a low maintenance job with Apopka as a crisis dispatcher/911 administrator. Carnesale earned a full-time position the following year, and by 1990 he was employed as a full-time fireman/EMT. In the year 2000, he was perceived by then Gov. Jeb Bush as Apopka's Firefighter of the Year. He was elevated to build in 2001, a lieutenant in 2005, skipper and EMS facilitator in 2006 and colleague fire boss in 2013. Carnesale went to Seminole State and Valencia universities, Florida State Fire College and the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD. He has served on a few restorative sheets, and this year Orange County Medical Director Dr. George Ralls delegated him the Orange County EMS Advisory Council. Carnesale was named as Apopka Fire Chief in June 2016..
