Our resource water is bought water from the Associated with Tulsa, City of Sapulpa, and Creek Region Rural Water Section #1. Water bought from the City of Tulsa serves the north part of our Area, portions of the southeast part of our Area, and some areas of the town of Kiefer. The town of Tulsa depends on surface water coming from two sources: Pond Oologah on the Verdigris River and Ponds Spavinaw and Eucha on Spavinaw Creek. Water from Pond Oologah is cured at the A. W. Jewell Treatment Herb; Water from Ponds Spavinaw and Eucha is treated in the Mohawk Treatment Grow. Water purchased from your City of Sapulpa acts as the rural Sapulpa region. The City of Sapulpa relies on surface drinking water from Skiatook Pond and Lake Sahoma. Both sources of drinking water are treated in the Sapulpa Treatment Grow. The water purchased coming from Creek County Countryside Water District #1 serves the southern part of our Area, including some regions of the City of Kiefer. Creek County Countryside Water District #1 relies on surface drinking water from Lake Heyburn; it is treated in the District #1 Treatment Plant.
