DESCRIPTION

Bacteria and viruses don’t stand a chance.

The Pura UV-20 is a three-stage whole-house system. A 5-micron sediment filter catches the grit, a 10-micron carbon block filter handles chemicals and heavy metals, and a UV lamp kills bacteria and viruses without chemicals.

It handles up to 8 GPM through 3/4" ports and runs on a standard 120V outlet. It pairs well with softeners, reverse osmosis, distillers, and ozone systems. Warranty: 3 years on the system (excluding filters) and 1 year on electrical components.

HOW TO USE

Mount it. Plug it in. Drink safe.

  1. Install it on your main water line using the 3/4" ports.
  2. Plug it into a 120V outlet. The LED indicator shows when the lamp is working.
  3. Check the flow rate. The maximum is 8 GPM.
  4. Replace the UV lamp once a year, and swap the filter cartridges when they get dirty.
  5. Replace the quartz sleeve when it’s worn or stained.
HOW DOES IT WORK

Three stages. One clean glass.

  • Stage 1: Sediment. The 5-micron filter catches sand, dirt, and rust.
  • Stage 2: Carbon. The 10-micron carbon block removes heavy metals and a wide range of chemicals.
  • Stage 3: UV. The lamp kills bacteria and viruses by attacking their DNA.

The result is filtered water that’s also disinfected, with no chemicals added.

The Full Breakdown

The Full Breakdown

The Pura UV-20 Three-Stage UV Light System is a triple unit — a UV lamp, a 10-micron carbon block filter, and a sediment filter — providing disinfected and filtered water at a flow rate of 8-10 GPM. Beyond disinfection, this triple unit filters out sediment and chemical contaminants. Genuinely useful as a companion to water softeners, ozone systems, or on its own for whole-house treatment.

This system features an LED electronic lamp indicator, operates at a standard 115V voltage, and includes a 5-micron sediment filter along with a 10-micron carbon block filter for effective filtration.
It offers low operating costs, effectively disinfecting water while reducing sediment and chemical contaminants. The system works well alongside water softeners, reverse osmosis, distillers, and ozone systems, using proven, reliable technology with no significant drawbacks. It is also environmentally friendly, trouble-free, and easy to maintain.
The system has a maximum flow rate of 8 gallons per minute and uses a 22-watt lamp. It operates at 120 volts, 60 Hz, with compact dimensions of 25" × 16" × 5.5" and features a 3/4" port size.
For maintenance, the PURA 36002018 Replacement UV Lamp #20 should be replaced annually, while the PURA 36003035 Replacement Quartz Sleeve #20 and filter cartridge should be replaced periodically as needed.
The system is backed by a 3-year warranty, excluding filters, while the electrical components are covered for 1 year.
Pura Ultraviolet is a genuinely simple, clean, low-maintenance way to keep water free of bacteria — a proven technology with no significant drawbacks. Initial cost runs a bit higher than chlorination in some applications, but low operating cost means it pays for itself quickly. Environmentally friendly, and basically trouble-free.
How It Works

How It Works

Water passes through the sediment filter, then the 10-micron carbon block filter, removing sediment, unwanted heavy metals, and a wide range of chemicals — then through the UV lamp, which kills bacteria and viruses.
