The SoftPro Spin-Down Sediment Separator catches sand, silt, and grit before they reach your pipes, appliances, and filters. A centrifugal head design spins heavy particles out of the water, and a 60 mesh screen “after-filter” keeps small particles from sneaking back in.
There are no cartridges to replace. Rinse it out and you’re done. Available in 3/4", 1", 1.5", and 2" plumbing sizes.
HOW TO USE
Install it. Check it. Flush it. Repeat.
- Pick your plumbing size. Choose 3/4", 1", 1.5", or 2" to match your main line.
- Install it on your main water line, ahead of any other filters.
- Watch the clear bowl. When the sediment builds up, it’s time to flush.
- Shut off the water, then drain the bowl. Rinse the screen and put it back.
How often you flush depends on your water. Heavy sand means more flushing.
