The Village of Water Forest is very happy to present our Total annual Drinking Water Quality Statement for the period of January 1 to December 31, 2016. The sources of drinking water (both tap water and bottled water) include streams, lakes, streams, fish ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells. Water, including bottled water, might reasonably be expected to contain at a minimum of small amounts of a few contaminants. The presence of pollutants does not necessarily show that water positions a health associated risk. To ensure that plain tap water is safe to drink, the EPA prescribes rules that limit the number of certain contaminants in water provided by general public water systems.
