The sources of water and bottled water consist of rivers, lakes, channels, ponds, reservoirs, suspension springs, and wells. Because the water travels within the surface of the property or through the floor, it dissolves naturally-occurring minerals and in some cases, radioactive material, and can get substances resulting from the existence of animals or coming from human activities. Pollutants that may be present in resource water include: (A) Microbial contaminants, including viruses and bacterias, which may come from sewerage treatment plants, solid waste systems, agricultural animals operations, and animals; (B) Inorganic pollutants such as salts and metals, which can be naturally-occurring or result from city stormwater elope, industrial or household wastewater secretions, oil and gas production, exploration or farming; (C) Pesticides and herbicides, which might come from a variety of resources such as agriculture, city stormwater elope and residential uses; (D) Organic chemical substance contaminants, including artificial and volatile organic and natural chemicals, which are byproducts of industrial processes and petroleum production, and may also come from gasoline stations, urban storm drinking water runoff and solid waste systems; (E) radioactive contaminants, which may be naturally-occurring or become the result of oil and gas creation and mining actions. To ensure that tap water is safe to imbibe, EPA prescribes codes that limit the number of certain contaminants in water provided by general public water systems. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION regulations established limitations for contaminants found in bottled water which need to provide the same safety for public health. L. C. W. C. routinely monitors intended for contaminants in your water according to Federal government and State laws. This statement shows the outcomes of our monitoring intended from January 1st, 2017 through December 31st, 2017. All drinking water, which includes bottled drinking water, might be reasonably expected to consist of at least a small amount of some pollutants. The presence of contaminants will not necessarily indicate the water poses a health risk. More info about contaminants and potential health results can be obtained by phoning the Environmental Protection Agency’s Safe Drinking Water Hotline in 1-800-426-4791..
