DESCRIPTION
The unsung hero at the bottom of your tank.
Your softener or filter media needs a solid foundation. This 12 lb bag of uncrushed, premium bedding gravel sits beneath your media bed. It supports the media and promotes proper flow and water distribution.
- Made for water softeners, carbon filters, and iron filters
- Uncrushed premium gravel
- 12 lbs per bag
- Helps maintain treated water quality
- 100% no-risk money-back guarantee
HOW TO USE
Layer it in. Build on top.
- Add the gravel first. Pour it into the bottom of your tank, under your media.
- Aim for a 3" layer. That’s the recommended depth for graded support beds.
- Add your media on top. Resin, carbon, or iron media goes over the gravel.
Not sure how much your tank needs? Use the calculator on this page or call our experts.
HOW DOES IT WORK
It spreads the flow so your media can do its job.
The gravel acts as a support bed under your media. It holds the media in place and lets water move evenly through the tank. Even flow means your softener or filter can treat water properly.
