The tank slip ring (19197) seals your Fleck valve to the tank. When it cracks, water leaks from the base of the control valve. This genuine Pentair Fleck part fixes that.
It fits all Fleck 2510 and 2510 SXT softener, filter, and air injection valves.
HOW TO USE
Found a leak at the valve base? Start here.
- Shut off the water and put your system on bypass.
- Remove the control valve from the tank.
- Replace the old slip ring with the new 19197.
- Check the tank O-ring (18303). If it’s damaged, brittle, or nicked, replace it too.
- Reinstall the valve and check for leaks.

The tank slip ring can crack and enable leaks, and is typically replaced to fix leaking that develops in the base of the control valve where the valve closes against the tank.
Note:
It may also be required to replace the tank O-ring (18303) if it is damaged, brittle, nicked, or lower — which will allow leaks in the same region.
