The Triple O Ozone Diffuser turns the ozone stream into a cloud of micro-bubbles inside your tank. Smaller bubbles mean more surface area touching the water, so more iron, sulfur, and bacteria get hit.
When the bubbles start looking weak or uneven, it's time for a new one.

HOW TO USE
- Unplug the system and lift the filter module out of the tank.
- Disconnect the old diffuser from the ozone tubing.
- Attach the new diffuser, making sure the connection is snug.
- Lower the module back in and power up. Look for a fine, even stream of bubbles.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Ozone gas arrives from the generator through the tubing. The diffuser's porous surface splits that stream into thousands of tiny bubbles.
Tiny bubbles rise slowly and have far more surface area than big ones. That gives the ozone more time and more contact to dissolve into the water and react with contaminants.
Over time, mineral buildup can clog the pores. A fresh diffuser restores full bubble power.

How It Works
The Triple O Ozone system relies on this diffuser to create millions of ozone-saturated bubbles. It attaches to the ozone tubing and sits toward the bottom of the filter module, dispersing tiny ozone bubbles throughout the storage tank and creating a contact recirculating draw through the filter module check valve.
Maintenance:
Regular diffuser cleaning keeps the system running at peak efficiency — this typically takes 10-15 minutes and requires no tools. Over time, the diffuser gets blocked by contaminants like iron, manganese, and calcium, which reduces both ozone flow and water flow.
Cleaning steps:
1. Remove the handle assembly to access the diffuser.
2. Dip the diffuser in muriatic acid for about 30 seconds.
3. Rinse with water until the diffuser turns white again — this clears the tiny pores blocked with contaminants. Repeat if necessary.
Important safety notes:
- Make sure the ozone hose is disconnected from the manhole barb fitting (as covered under filter cleaning) before you start, so no ozone gas is flowing through the diffuser during cleaning. If gas is flowing through it, the acid won't be able to clean the pores properly, and you'll produce excess acid fumes.
- Sulfur is not soluble in muriatic acid. If your diffuser is plugged with sulfur, clean it with muriatic acid first, rinse thoroughly, then soak for 15 minutes in a concentrated chlorine solution. Finish with a final rinse.
