For more Oregon resources & information
The town of St. Helens has issued the 2017 water top quality report detailing the results of drinking water testing, in addition to information such as drinking water conservation tips and necessary utility billing info. The City’s water meets or exceeds all federal water standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The City is needed by the Oregon Condition Health Division to consider 15 routine drinking water samples monthly coming from designated areas through the city, testing intended for microbiological contaminants inside the drinking water. Periodically, screening also looks for pollutants like arsenic, cyanide, lead, and mercury. The Safe Drinking Water Take action (SDWA) requires that utility providers like the City of St. Helens provides an annual Customer Confidence report to consumers. The City of St Helens mailed the 2017 water top quality report to all power billing account holders inside the City’s water program on June 18, 2018. A complete drinking water quality report is additionally available on the City’s website (https://www.ci.st-helens.or.us/publicworks/page/water-quality-reports).
