California Water Service - San Mateo

The SFPUC performs watershed sanitary studies for the Hetch Hetchy source yearly and local water resources every five years. The last local hygienic survey was required for 2016. The SFPUC also conducted a unique watershed sanitary study for the Upcountry Non-Hetch Hetchy Resource (UNHHS) in 2015 as part of its drought response plan attempts. These surveys assess the sanitary condition, drinking water quality, potential contamination resources, and results of watershed management activities, and were completed with an assist from partner companies including the National Recreation area Service and Circumstance.
